Is coconut oil really the best way to go to combat hypothyroidism and losing weight? Because it is really really bad for you, like similar to bacon fat. According to an advisory put out by the American Heart Association "... coconut oil is 82 percent saturated fat, and studies show it raises LDL “bad” cholesterol as much as butter, beef fat or palm oil. Canola oil, on the other hand, has only 7 percent saturated fat. All fats and oils have varying levels of saturated, monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fat."

ReplyDeletestill no answer if coconut oil is good/bad. i get coconut oil out of a bottle in liquid form is this better or worse than the solid stuff, there isn't the coconut taste either in the bottled variety.
