Every person dreams about having a white smile. Nowadays, this is possible even without having to spend a large amount of money on different whitening procedures. Natural home made remedies are an effective solution.
- Baking soda and Lemon juice
Baking soda has alkaline properties and it balances the pH in your mouth, protecting your enamel from the action of acids. Combined with lemon juice, who has bleaching properties, baking soda reduces the acidity of the lemon and makes your teeth whiter.
Remedy: Combine several teaspoons of baking soda with lemon juice or water. Remove saliva from your teeth by using a paper towel, then apply the paste made on your toothbrush. Brush your teeth gently and leave the paste for about one minute (3 minutes if you use water), then rinse thoroughly.
- Strawberry, baking soda and salt
Due to its high level of vitamin C and malic acid, strawberries remove plaque and eliminate the yellow stains from your teeth. The salt and the baking soda are abrasive and act like a scrub, protecting the enamel from acids.
Remedy: Mash 1-3 strawberries and mix them with ½ tsp of baking soda and a pinch of sea salt. Remove the saliva from your teeth with a paper towel, then apply the paste on a toothbrush. Brush your teeth and leave the mixture action for about 5 minutes, then rinse your teeth thoroughly. Repeat the procedure every evening.
- Coconut oil
Applying coconut oil on your teeth will definitely give you a beautiful smile. It doesn’t whiten your teeth right away, but the lauric acid it contains, protects your teeth from the bacteria in the plaque. Moreover, it improves the health of your gums and gives your mouth a fresher breath.
Remedy: Every morning before brushing your teeth, apply a tablespoon of coconut oil and move it all around your teeth for about 15 minutes. Then, wash your mouth with water and brush your teeth normally. CREDIT: http://mybeautytutorial.com
